Hay Festival

Known as the ‘town of books’ and situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Hay-on-Wye has held a literary festival for the past 28 years. With a range of poets and writers attending and sharing their stories, the event is not to be missed by anyone who loves reading. As well as authors, the festival also attracts talks from filmmakers, comedians, musicians and even politicians! Hay festival is a great event for book lovers, but also for families due to a wide range of entertainment for the children.

The properties included in the list are those in our Mid and South Wales areas available for at least 3 days between 24 May and 3 June 2018. Some are only available on a weekly basis over the Whitsun week and it may be quite a drive to Hay from some of the properties but a day out in the town, even without the added attraction of the festival is always worth it!
