Located in the residential heart of Mumbles, this comfortable couple’s apartment is close to all the village’s holiday attractions and comes complete with shared use of a pretty courtyard garden. With a wonderfully welcoming sitting area at its heart and original features throughout, this is a charming space to really recharge and get away from it all.

Convenient for all the attractions of the bustling seaside village of Mumbles, this ground-floor apartment makes an ideal holiday pad for two. Step into a studio-style space where there’s a feature stone fireplace, seating, dining suite and recessed area where you’ll find a comfortable double bed. Together-time really is the emphasis here, while close by is a compact kitchen and bathroom. Step into the courtyard garden for a spot of fresh air – shared with the property owner, it has bistro-style seating to extend your living space along with pretty seasonal planting.

Cosmopolitan and friendly, Mumbles is the gateway to the Gower and steeped in history – a location visitors return to year after year. Famous local landmarks include a lighthouse, built in 1794, and 12th-century Oystermouth Castle, plus a Grade II-listed pier that offers all the traditional seaside holiday delights. Stroll the famous Mumbles Mile where there’s a string of welcoming pubs, cafes and ice-cream shops for seafront refreshment stops, or shop for local arts and crafts – there’s even a Lovespoon Gallery offering the largest collection of designs from Wales’ best carvers! If you want to explore further afield, Swansea, the second-largest city in Wales, is 4.5 miles east, while the beaches of the Gower lie westwards – the small cove of Bracelet Bay has lots of rock pools to explore and lovely views of the lighthouse on Mumbles Head.

Although we have rated almost everything with the highest grade, we would like to mention that the water temperature in the shower was only tepid whereas in all the other taps, it was piping hot.. We had a wonderful few days and will certainly anticipate returning to this property.
