We had a lovely stay at the Granary. Gorgeous accommodation in a peaceful location - definitely recommend the pub up the road - The Britannia! Book for weekends in advance as we missed out on Sunday lunch there due to this. Accommodation owners lovely and friendly. It was wonderful to have such nice accommodation that we wanted to stay there some dRead moreays rather than always going out exploring. A great stay for our first holiday as a family of three in Wales! Hide

The cottage is relatively modern in style and its location is better suited to ramblers rather than a base for a family to explore the south west region of Wales in our opinion. It is 25 minutes away from Rhossili beach and a 30 minute walk to Whitesands Bay, so worth a trip if the weather holds and temperatures are high. The property was smalleRead morer than the photos suggested and whilst the advertised details stated SKY TV, it only had the main free to air " Freeview" channels. The main TV is next to the bedroom door which meant it couldn't be used when my youngest went to bed. The ground floor bedroom has a very heavy damp smell and the ceiling heights serving the first floor bedrooms is limited for anyone above 5'9". prepare to occassionally hit your head/ neck on the slopping ceiling and roof members. The wet room is very wet when the shower is used and the provided mop was useless - slippers or sandals are a must to keep your feet dry after someone uses the shower! The cottage also had no phone reception and was accessible by narrow lanes fitting one car width. There are no local amenities other than a pub and a village shop. The latter is not a convenience shop but more a coffee and cake retailer. The nearest supermarket shop is a Nisa Local which is about 5 miles way via narrow roads. Other than these points the property and location is okay for a short "off grid" break. Hide

A great stay, fantastic hosts. Got shown around the upper field and told about the history. The beaches are great and one is close to the Granary. Quiet. Loved the wildlife, we chilled. Thank you, lovely home.

Our family has had the privilege of staying at the Granary on 2 occasions: August 2021 and July 2022. The whole family are tremendous hosts. The Granary is outstanding and the attention to detail is lovely. As non-drivers, we have made the most of the local areas and enjoyed the most beautiful walks. Our younger son enjoyed seeing all of the animalRead mores, especially the farm cats and village sheep. This is a very special place that we hope to visit time and time again. Diolch yn fawr! Hide
