Dove Cottage is a pretty 'upside down' stone barn conversion with the living accommodation above the bedrooms. The boutique style cottage combines traditional character and charm with carefully selected  furnishings. The cottage enjoys a perfect location in Southern Snowdonia near the coast which provides a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Close, but not intrusively so, to Llanfendigaid, it shares its attributes as far as location goes and sleeps four in two bedrooms.

The first floor living accommodation includes a wonderful large open plan living room with exposed beams, log burning stove, flatscreen TV, sofas, chair, stereo/CD radio, books and magazines and a dining area with a table and chairs for 4. The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob & oven, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, microwave and a fridge with a small freezer compartment. There are two pretty bedrooms on the ground floor - a kingsize and a twin - and a large bathroom with a shower, bath, WC and basin.

Dove Cottage has a seating area to the front and is surrounded by three acres within the Llanfendigaid Estate - scenic farmland with magnificent views of beautiful scenery and glimpses of the sea. Guests have use of the farmland with woodland walks and seating benches. There is a small sand and shingle beach nearby and even a 'private' request train station on the Barmouth line.

Guests at Dove Cottage have use of a 28' x 14' indoor heated swimming pool. This is shared with Llanfendigaid, two other cottages and people staying at the small Caravan Club CL (certified location) on the estate. This is restricted to five pitches and is a good distance from the main house and secluded by trees. The estate also boasts its own small walled garden where vegetables and other produce are grown - these are available to guests to buy subject to availability.

Electricity and heating included.

Bed linen and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Cot, high chair and stairgate available.

WiFi is available but given the location of the estate it is satellite based which is priced by the provider on a usage basis. For this reason only access for simple browsing and email is suggested - all bookings will receive a free voucher for 500Mb of data. Additional data vouchers are available from the owner subject to additional fee.

Please note there is a stream on the estate and children should be supervised. Children should also be supervised in and around the swimming pool.
