Hayloft is a delightful barn conversion on an organic working farm in a lovely position, at the end of a short track, with great views across open fields to the sand dunes and beach at Morfa Dyffryn and to the Moelfre hills behind. This is close to the village of Dyffryn Ardudwy in the Snowdonia National Park with Harlech and Barmouth both 5 miles away. The cottage is one of a collection of four which can all be booked together (see Ivy House Barns). They benefit from a large communal games room with a pool table, table football, table tennis, books and games, fantastic for when the weather is not so kind! There is also a children’s play area, barbecue and picnic area and shared utility room. Secure bike storage is available and there is plenty of parking for guests.

'hop on the train to Barmouth to enjoy this lovely seaside resort, take your bikes (or walk) across the viaduct over the Mawddach Estuary and continue up the trail towards Dolgellau for stunning views' form Jacky. our local property manager

The Cottage: many original features have been retained such as exposed beams and the large lounge window, which was once the opening of the Hayloft, giving this accommodation a charming character and a cosy cottage feel. Hayloft is on the first floor and approached up 13 external stone steps but the views are worth it!

The Living Dining Room: is furnished with a leather sofa, chairs, flatscreen Freeview TV/ DVD player,  music system and WiFi. There is a small fold down dining table and chairs.

The kitchen: is well-equipped with a gas cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave.

There are two bedrooms.

Bedroom 1: the master double bedroom is spacious with a vaulted ceiling and the ensuite is fitted with a bath with handheld shower, basin and WC.

Bedroom 2: the second bedroom has twin beds and an ensuite shower room with basin and WC.

Bathrooms: two en suite bathrooms, as above.

There are two pubs, a newsagent; village store, cafe and railway station just a short walk away.  The vast sandy beach is stunning and stretches for miles. Visit Harlech for the stunning castle, independent shops and cafes, sandy beach, golf, theatre and leisure centre. The traditional seaside resort of Barmouth is a must for the beach, boat rides, shops and most importantly, ice creams! The Mawddach Estuary trail is fantastic for walking and cycling, and there is a local Farm Park and Slate Caverns. Portmeirion is 20 miles away, Porthmadog for Welsh Highland Railway, 22 miles and Blaenau Ffestiniog for ZipWorld, 20 miles.
