Pentre Bach is a charming detached cottage, dating back to the C18th. This former granary building stands in a pleasant, quiet location within the Snowdonia National Park near Capel Garmon. Approximately 2 miles from Betws-y-Coed, 4 miles south of Llanrwst and 18 miles from both Conwy and Llandudno on the coast.

The Cottage: is a much loved and well cared for having been in the family for several years. Heating by storage heating and wood burning stove.

Entrance: the large porch has a quarry tiled floor and bench storage, so is ideal to store outdoor kit and muddy boots!

Sitting Room: the lovely cosy sitting room has a woodburning stove (initial logs supplied), TV/ DVD/ CD player, radio, iPod dock, WiFi and a selection of books and games.

Kitchen/diner:  has been recently refurbished yet retains a country charm with its quarry tiled floor and muted colours. The new fitted kitchen has an integrated electric hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The dining area has chairs and a bench with cushions.

Bedrooms: there are two charming country style bedrooms, a twin and a beamed double with a French window leading to a flight of external steps down to the garden. Hairdryer included.

Bathroom: there is a first floor bathroom, with a hand held shower over the bath, WC and basin, and second WC downstairs.

Exterior: a lovely looking cottage with an enclosed garden with table and chairs and parking to the side. There are bird tables to attract the many type’s birds seen here.

Visitors can enjoy good walks from the door. Capel Garmon has a Neolithic burial mound of historic importance and amazing views over the Conwy Valley to Snowdonia. There are many  visitor attractions within easy driving distance such as Conwy Castle, the popular village of Betws-y-Coed, the mountains of Snowdonia, Zip World Forest rides, mountain biking in the Gwydir forest, watersports on Llyn Geirionydd, fishing at both Llyn Elsi and Crafnant and nearby riding stables. Llanrwst has all the facilities of a small market town with cafes, shops and pubs whilst the Conwy Valley has the popular Bodnant Welsh Food Centre, with its shop, cafe and restaurant, the National Trust's Bodnant Gardens and the new Surf Snowdonia surf and splash park.

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful path of Wales. Had a chilled week in this cottage with sunny days and cool enough to get the fire on in the evening. We will return, the cottage has a nice chilled vibe about it.
