Bwthyn-Bach is one of a pair of characterful C18th stone cottages (see also WAV369), situated within a mile of the sea and coast path, just outside the pretty coastal village of Trefin, 6 miles North East of St David's.

The property is single storey but with a few internal steps, so not particularly suitable for the infirm. There is a double bedroom, a bath/shower room and open-plan, attractive fitted kitchen/living room with stone wall, feature pine panelling and beams. The cottage has a TV, DVD player. Heating is by night storage and other electric heaters. To the rear is a south-facing sitting area with garden furniture; guests also have access to a large shared paddock with coastal views.

Bwthyn-Bach is within walking distance of the sea at Aberfelin (approximately 15 minutes) and many sandy beaches such as Abereiddy, Abermawr and Whitesands a short drive away. There are wonderful walks and views along this spectacular stretch of coastline. Don't miss the Blue Lagoon ad Abereiddy and the famous Sloop Inn at Porthgain. St David's with its spectacular Cathedral, is Britain's smallest city and a delight to wander around at leisure. Garage shop and pub/meals within about 10-15 minutes' walk of the cottage and there is a good range of eating places locally.

A really good location, close to the beach, pubs, places to eat, and go for walks. Close (but not too close) to main road, so easy links to St David’s, Fishguard. Homely and comfortable. We had to arrive a day late, and the owner kindly let us stay on an extra day at the end of the holiday, much appreciated.
