Boasting lots of character and dating back to the 18th Century, Old Vicarage Cottage adjoins the owners' home in the village of Llangeler, just 10 miles from the coast. Situated between the beautiful market towns of Newcastle Emlyn and Llandysul (both 5 miles) which both sit on the River Teifi.

This beamed cottage has a fitted kitchen with a freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The big living/dining room has a huge inglenook fireplace with a woodburning stove (logs supplied), dining table with four chairs, and a flat-screen TV with Freeview and in-built DVD recorder. Good-sized double bedroom upstairs includes a folding bed for a child and an en suite with shower cubicle and WC. The living/dining room has underfloor heating and there is oil-fired central heating run off the owners' system in the other rooms.

The cottage has its own patio with garden furniture and portable barbecue. Guests are also welcome to use the owners' beautiful one acre garden with pond which is included in the Yellow Book Garden Scheme. A great location for exploring West Wales, great for walking with its numerous beaches, scenic countryside and spectacular waterfalls. Local fishing and canoeing on the River Teifi.

Mrs Judith K,

A warm welcome from Pixie & John and gave us some lovely ideas for places to visit, the cottage is wonderful with everything you need and more, the garden is a delight and we often sat out in it after a day out, it is so peaceful will go again.

Mrs Josephine A,

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The gardens really made the holiday lovely
