This listed Georgian house is in the attractive village of Manorbier (6 miles west of Tenby in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park) and is just half a mile from the sandy beach, which is dominated by the beautiful medieval Manorbier Castle and a 12th Century church, a 10 minute walk away.

Semi-detached, full of character and with beamed ceilings, Curlew Cottage has a sitting room with an open fire (logs provided), digital TV & Blu-ray DVD player; a dining room with unique feature wall, digital radio, books and games; a fitted kitchen/diner with electric Aga, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and radio/CD player; and utility room with a large Butler's sink, washing machine, shower and WC. Upstairs are four bedrooms (one king-size, one double, a twin and a single) and a bathroom, now including a shower over the bath and hand shower attachment. There are electronically controlled thermostatic radiators in the sitting room, dining room and two front bedrooms, storage heaters in the hall and back bedroom, and electric heaters in the single bedroom, bathroom and utility room. There is a payphone for outgoing calls, and WiFi is available.

Small lawned garden to the front of the property. The garden at the back has steps which lead up to a small paved terrace with picnic tables and a sloping grassed area. Manorbier benefits from a good village shop and Post Office, a cafe (with internet), childrens' play park, a pub and a hotel with bar and restaurant. Attractions nearby include Folly Farm, Dinosaur Park, Oakwood Theme Park and Blue Lagoon Waterpark. Many other attractions within easy driving distance.

There are several steps within the house so it is not very suitable for those with mobility issues.

Electricity (renewable sourced) and logs included.

Bed linen provided.

Cot and high chair available.

Thank you for making Curlew Cottage so welcoming. We have had such a relaxing time - a home from home. Best wishes.

Michael and L,

Another relaxing holiday in Curlew Cottage, plenty to do as usual even though the weather was mixed. Enjoyed mackerel fishing and eating our catch for tea, a day trip to St David’s and a beautiful day on Broadhaven beach. Thanks once again for letting us enjoy your cottage. Nice to see the cottage has had a spruce up – but don’t go changing it too much, we love its old charms!

Teresa & A,

Had a lovely stay! Really enjoyed the beaches and the castle. We had a great time in Stackpole at Barafundle and Broadhaven beaches. The cottage is well equipped - thank you for the cot and highchair.

Kathryn H,

A comfortable, well-equipped cottage and a great base for a weeks walking on the wonderful Pembrokeshire coastal path! Very good Wi-Fi and TV reception. A very comfortable firm mattress. We appreciated the heaters in the front room, dining room and front bedroom – easy to use when needed and very efficient. It was cooler in the evenings, and we also enjoyed the open log fire occasionally – very cosy! The neighbours were friendly and helpful. It's good to see that so much can be recycled here too. Thanks for the delicious biscuits – good for a snack on walks!

Janet & A,

We’ve had a fabulous 2 weeks here in Curlew Cottage and we are likely to be back. We have spent years coming to Pembrokeshire and it was a lovely change to stay here in beautiful Manorbier. We’ve spent quite some time on the beach and bonus down here is that most beaches are dog friendly. Tip – get to Manorbier beach early. Have loved the garden especially with the fabulous weather.

Helena C,

Great stay at Curlew Cottage yet again! Weather a mixed bag but nothing terrible. Enjoyed the varied beaches Pembs has to offer, swam in the beautiful Manorbier bay and surfed at Broadhaven, had a lovely stroll on Freshwest. We mooched around Narberth – a fantastic little village, full of quirky shops and food emporiums. Sad to be leaving but back as soon as possible.

T M,
