Occupying an extraordinary cliffside location, this fantastic detached cottage offers stunning views across Cardigan Bay. Enjoying a wonderfully secluded location surrounded by 52 acres of farmland, the adults-only cottage offers spacious accommodation for up to four guests seeking a tranquil retreat along the Ceredigion coastline. Featuring a hot tub overlooking the sea, and with a central wood burner, big picture windows, a unique roof garden, and opportunities to spot dolphins in the bay, this light-filled holiday home makes a memorable hideaway for anyone seeking an idyllic base for discovering an awe-inspiring part of West Wales.

The spacious, airy open-plan living lounge/kitchen/diner offers breathtaking views from large picture windows, with telescopes and binoculars to help you admire the views and spot dolphins and birds. The welcoming lounge has a stylish cylinder wood burner, with a TV and plenty of seating. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen and a handsome dining area. Exploring further, the property has a refreshing bathroom and two cheerful king-size bedrooms: the first is screened off from the living area and features a lounger chair by the window; the second room is to the rear of the property and has a skylight and vanity station. Outside, the big roof garden has a handy picnic bench, providing a lovely spot for a coffee or a glass of wine. A few steps lead out from the cottage and along to the hot tub which perches at the very edge of the cliff, with stunning views out to sea.

The Wales Coast Path passes beneath the property, leading to the beaches at Llangrannog and Cwmtydu, both within 3.5 miles. Llangrannog has some great pubs and an activity centre offering skiing and quad biking. From New Quay (6 miles) you can take a boat trip into the bay to spot dolphins.

A few little niggles, insufficient towels provided for our booking of four people. Not a problem as the rest of the family unable to join us due to illness. Second bedroom well furnished bar no towels but had a damp smell, again no problem as only two of us could make it. The two loo rolls promised were half empty so again would have run out if 4 gRead moreuests. A warning that key safe is situated over 6 feet up is needed, I couldnt access it ,my husband who is 6ft 3ins could only just read the numbers. Lots of positives re the location and views but though cliff path is close to property some warning of how difficult it is to access and need for sturdy walking boots would have been appreciated. We did have a contact number for the owners but when you go on holiday you dont want to have to sort out irritating niggles it should just be for unforeseen emergencies. Hide
