Nestled in the owner’s 27-acre smallholding and extensive landscaped gardens with a river flowing through, leave behind reality and escape to this romantic bolthole to meet the friendly resident alpacas and goats, and explore the beautiful rolling countryside of the southern edge of the Cambrian Mountains.

After exploring your surroundings, escape to the homely lounge/diner to not only admire the characterful exposed beams and brickwork echoing back to the cottage’s rich history but to hunker down for the evening on the plush sofa beside the roaring wood burner. The earthy colour palette continues through to the contemporary kitchen where you can get creative with the local produce you’ve collected to dine around the table nestled in the lounge. When bedtime calls, climb the characterful wooden staircase to the spacious bedroom that features more gorgeous, exposed ceiling beams, tucked beneath the eaves of the cottage. Enjoy a morning coffee or midnight snack on the quaint picnic bench at the front of the cottage, or venture into the extensive landscaped grounds to hear the peaceful trickle of a river flowing by and the sights of the resident goats and alpacas.

I love this place. It is the first time I have visited in the spring and what an absolute picture the daffodils are! I have never seen so many different ones in one place. The weather wasnt too good but that didnt stop the dawn chorus. So many different birds joining together to welcome the day. Lots of squirrels around too. We have had a wonderful week at Felin Fach. We have enjoyed a lazy few days just sitting and enjoying the wildlife. We have seen woodpeckers, chaffinches, blue and great tits, wagtails its been wonderful. The alpacas were a real bonus too. Would very much recommend.

Good all-round property. Well furnished and equipped. Some areas need attention e.g. windows need to be cleaned and dusting of some less accessible areas.

An idyllic setting for a very restful holiday. It was wonderful to return home each evening to the beautiful, secluded surroundings. We particularly lied the walks into the NT estate at the end of the lane. Llandeilo is definitely worth a visit for lovely independent shops and delis. What an absolutely magical place to spend my 70th birthday. Your beautiful cottage is definitely a home from home place. Meeting the fabulous alpacas, especially the very handsome and flirtatious Arthur, was wonderful. And as for the dogs what a friendly pair! We loved them. The birds came daily, many times, for their food and we could spend an afRead moreternoon just watching their antics. Even the shy little wren made an appearance for us. Only negative comment is that it all went by too quickly. Thankyou for the fabulous hospitality and the lovely chats. Hide

This is truly a little gem of a find! The cottage is comfortable with everything you could need and the grounds are amazing.
