Sitting in the Dee Valley between Oswestry and Chester on the owner’s working farm, this spacious house makes the perfect rural base for a family to explore North East Wales. It has stunning country views, an open fire, a wood burner, and a Range oven, and is close to local attractions for all ages.
Previously part of the farm, this impressive farmhouse has been beautifully renovated and furnished to provide spacious, stylish accommodation and still has many original features. Entering via the hall, go into the sitting room, with a wooden floor, a Smart TV and a brick fireplace housing an open fire. The cottage-style kitchen has a Range oven for cooking hearty meals and leads through to the dining room, with a second stunning fireplace and wood burner, plus somewhere to sit with a good book either side of it. There’s also a utility room on the ground floor and a cloakroom/WC off it. Upstairs are the two gorgeous bedrooms: a king-size with lovely furniture and a pretty twin bedroom, and the large family bathroom. There’s also a snug/playroom which is ideal as a nursery. Outside, enjoy drinks and meals on the patio, there’s a lovely lawn to the front, an orchard, and views of the open countryside beyond.
