Description

This impressive large detached four bedroom holiday cottage near Snowdonia is packed with luxury furnishings and character, full of country-chic style and spacious throughout. Gamekeeper's Cottage has a stunning riverside location with a large private south facing garden so there is plenty of space for eight people to relax and enjoy. The holiday accommodation even has its own private hot tub.

With slate tiles warmed by underfloor heating and a stove fuelled by logs from the estate, this cottage makes a perfect retreat any time of year. All four luxury bedrooms have their own ensuite bath or shower room and the main bedroom even has the luxury of a roll top bath within the main room carefully positioned to enjoy the view across the river.

The focal point of the cottage is the lovely large and airy living room with a high open beamed ceiling, a log burning stove, views across the River Dee, sofas, chairs and the luxury of a large flatscreen TV (with Netflix channels) and WiFi. The modern kitchen is large and very well equipped with dining table for eight, granite worktops, dishwasher, microwave, electric hob & oven, large fridge and large freezer, wine fridge and French doors opening onto the patio. The four ensuite bedrooms each have a kingsize bed, which can be arranged as twin beds if required. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The conversion includes a Villeroy & Boch bathroom and award winning beds from Burgess Beds. The bed linen is 100% Egyptian cotton and the rental includes towels and bathrobes.

Guests at Gamekeeper's Cottage have a large south-facing enclosed fenced garden with frontage onto the River Dee, access to a private stretch of riverside and a private hot tub. There is a glorious patio with solid teak garden furniture and garden and river views. Rentals include a fishing permit for approximately 150 metres of the River Dee and guests can enjoy access to the wider estate with woodland walks and some of the best views in Wales. Guests also enjoy shared use of the splendid Games Lodge on the estate with large flatscreen TV, seating, table football, table tennis and patio. There is a separate laundry/drying room with washing machines, tumble dryers, drying racks and other facilities and a secure bike store with facilities to wash bikes and a few essential items such as puncture repair kits, pump  - ideal for exploring local area.

Gamekeeper's Cottage is one of a group of five cottages, which can be booked together to sleep up to 30 people.
