What a stunning location. Even when the clouds are rolling over the hills you don't get bored with the views. More than enough space for two families to holiday together without getting under each others feet. Machynnleth is only 3 minutes drive away with a large Co-op for shopping. Aberwyswyth is a forty minute drive away if you want a larger supeRead morermarket. Perfectly located to access the mid to north west of Wales, Portmeirion is an hour's drive away. We took a beautiful train journey from Machynlleth to Barmouth. John and Annie are wonderful, friendly hosts and the Bara Brith on arrival is gorgeous. There's a lovely little pub in the hamlet of Derwenlas (5 min walk) which serves amazing food. Hide

A lovely house for us, a family party aged from 3 to 66. The house was most comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped with lots of large pots and dishes and plenty of cutlery and crockery. It was good to have car free days and walk or get the bus from nearby into Machynlleth on the busy market day or enjoy the scenery on the way to AberystwytRead moreh. Hide

Although I was informed at all stages by you company, when I called the owners to let us into the property they had no idea that they had a booking? So were not expecting us some of things in the house were not ready for us. Other than that the house itself is like a home from home and the surrounding ares are absolutely stunning.
