Bancyfelin provides guests with some additional facilities to The Annexe (see WAW320), a single-storey, quality apartment in a former watermill, where the owners also run a B&B. The property sits in extensive, mature gardens in a peaceful rural location adjacent to the local golf course and less than a mile from the western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Although older children are welcome, Bancyfelin is ideal for groups of adults holidaying together, whether couples or individuals. This is a high quality property, with good attention to detail, including guest toiletries and a Welcome Pack of local produce.

The apartment is approached from a shared, gravelled parking area via a patio/balcony, overlooking the gardens and the neighbouring golf course (visible in winter but not through the trees in summer!). The accommodation and facilities are as follows:

This group of properties at The Mill At Glynhir is adjacent to the Glynhir Golf Course. You may simply want to relax with a glass of wine overlooking the peaceful lawned gardens from the raised decking, but if you can tear yourself away, there is a pub 1.3 miles away and Llandybie, 2.4 miles away, has a railway station, small supermarket/convenience store, pub, Fish & Chip shop and takeaway. Ammanford, 3 miles away has further shops, eating places and other facilities. The Brecon Beacons National Park is within a mile, with excellent walking on the Black Mountain. Aberglasney Gardens 8.5 miles and the National Botanic Gardens of Wales only 12 miles away provide garden lovers with some wonderful horticultural variety at any time of year. The impressive Carreg Cennen Castle is just 4 miles away. The coast at Llanelli is 18 miles to the south, Swansea is 20 miles and The Mumbles, on the Gower Peninsula, is just 23 miles away.
