A cosy bolthole for two, this stunning cottage is ideally situated in the Welsh town of Conwy, where spectacular coastline, promises of unspoilt landscapes and unexpected wildlife bring a holiday of solitude and freedom. Designed for a couple or solo traveller and two pooches, pop out for nearby provisions or have an evening snuggled in front of the open fire.

Well presented with oak features, sumptuous sofas and a sociable open-plan layout, this one-bedroom cottage truly is a joy to behold. Step inside and find yourselves instantly enamoured with the pillowy sofas, while the kettle’s boiling for a fresh pot of tea. Stoke up the open fireplace, and settle down to catch a film on the wall-mounted TV. Venture into the kitchen, where mod cons invite you to rustle up a romantic meal for two and served under candlelight at the adjoining dining table. Break bread with your loved one while cracking open a bottle of white and toasting to your getaway. Upstairs, a magnificent king-size bedroom welcomes a quality night’s sleep. Freshen up in the morning in the en-suite bathroom, with double wash basins, a walk-in shower and underfloor heating. Out back, a shared enclosed courtyard provides an ideal area for happy hounds to do their stretches or for two-legged friends to plan out their day with coffee.

Soak up a rich tapestry of history in the World Heritage Site of Conwy. Right on your doorstep, Conwy is home to world-class castles and fortresses, where many of them can be seen from the coastal town. The churches and chapels of rural Conwy have a fascinating history too, which can be followed via the four Sacred Doorways trails, including one that inspired poet William Wordsworth. Drive 21.3 miles to the Snowdonia National Park, where avid walkers can experience steep ascents or find hidden pools among the less-trodden pathways. Less than a mile away, the beach of Conwy is a real treat. Miles of golden sands and locally caught produce will while away the day, or alternatively take the boat trip up the Welsh coast to experience the highlights of the area.

Beautiful cottage which was very well equipped Comfort score lower as we felt it needed a chair not a footstool as the sofa was a little small for two people to sit comfortably. Although the property looked lovely, it wasnt as clean as we would have expected. Kitchen drawers and cupboards were dirty and so was the kitchen wear which we cleanedRead more. A very beautiful cottage well located for exploring North Wales Hide

Super cute little cottage right in the heart of Conwy A lovely spot for our honeymoon! Very well equipped and well decorated, super comfy kingsize bed with luxury bedding. Lots of nice restaurants and bars very close by....Alfredos is great, and the Albion has loads of local beers, and gin. A few frustrating things... The owner had changed thRead moree entry code and let Original Cottages know but this wasn't passed on, this could have been a real issue if we'd arrived late etc. I'd normally expect milk and ground coffee at a cottage on arrival, not really an issue as there is a spar 2 mins away. There are 2 TVs but neither of them are smart TVs....super shocked by this in 2023, and meant we had to resort to our ipad rather than a comfy watching of a movie. There is street parking but only about 50% of the time and that was mid week in March so if you're coming in the summer I'd assume that would be 0%. Hide

Lovely cottage, well equipped and gorgeously decorated. No Prosecco and chocolates as promised in the description, also had to clean the fridge and toaster, sugar was clumpy and damp and tea bags were stale, the amount paid for the property these things should have been replaced with fresh items, other than that great cottage and would book again.
