Perched in an elevated position amidst the picturesque Welsh countryside, this stylish farmhouse invites up to six guests, offering an ideal haven for quality time with family and friends. Enjoy spacious countryside living, a garden with a children’s play area, and far-reaching countryside views from this warm and welcoming home.

Enter into the heart of the home, the open-plan farmhouse-style kitchen/diner. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything needed for meal preparation, and a generously sized table and chairs, offering mountain views, accommodates up to six guests, complemented by a sofa and TV. The hallway leads to a spacious lounge, perfect for relaxation and socialising, equipped with a Smart TV. You’ll also find a cloakroom and a handy utility room on the ground floor. Climb the stairs to discover three generously sized bedrooms, all with views of the surrounding hillsides. There’s a king-size room with an en-suite shower room, a double bedroom, and a zip-and-link twin room (convertible into a super-king-size on request). The family bathroom completes the interior. Outside, the farmhouse is surrounded by an enclosed garden with a patio area, offering guests a serene space to enjoy views of the Black Mountains and Pen y Fan. The outdoor seating area includes a fire pit to keep you warm when stargazing, and, for younger guests, a fixed play area with a slide, swings, and a small climbing frame will entertain them for hours.

Explore the Brecon Beacons National Park, with Llangorse Lake 4.5 miles away, providing opportunities for rowing, kayaking, and fishing. Enthusiastic walkers can explore the surrounding hillsides, with Pen y Fan, the highest point in the park, offering breathtaking views. More leisurely strolls are available along Talybont Reservoir, the River Usk, and the Brecon Canal. The area also caters to climbing, mountain biking, and horse riding enthusiasts, with attractions like BikePark Wales, Pont Nedd Fechan’s waterfall walks, and Zip World at Tower Colliery, all within a 30-mile radius.

The cottage is so clean, spacious and peaceful with outstanding views. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. Cooking in the kitchen was a dream and I even used the fresh herbs growing in the beautifully kept garden. The owners live next door and are extremely friendly and helpful. We have loved the walks in mountains, by rivers and wRead moreaterfalls and the local market towns. This is the best UK holiday accommodation we have ever visited and we cant wait to go back. Hide

Beautiful cottage in a Gorgeous spot! Loved to see the cows in the field opposite. I imagine this place is spectacular all year round but would love to come back and enjoy a prosecco on the patio in the sunshine! Thanks Becky for looking after us and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed!

What a beautiful setting for this stone house with fabulous views. Plenty of space inside and out, comfortable seating and beds, good shower and great garden for the dog. Quiet location yet not far from places we wanted but o visit. Friendly and helpful owner near by.
