Gaze out across the rolling countryside of the beautiful Dee Valley when you escape to this welcoming holiday home in Corwen. Set in an elevated position, the three-bedroom, pup-friendly retreat sleeps six guests and is perfect for long walks, cycle rides and other outdoor activities. It is 10 miles from picture-postcard Llangollen and 11 miles from Bannau Brycheiniog, also known as the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Let yourselves in and wander through to the lounge to put your feet up for a spell. Relax together, watch the Smart TV and mull over your adventures. Choose to spend some quiet time in the amazing conservatory instead. Sit in here with a cup of tea and lose yourselves for hours in the breath-taking views. Prepare homecooked meals for your party in the kitchen, where you will find everything you need to help you, then call everyone to the table in the dining room. The utility room is accessed from outside the kitchen door. At the end of each fun day away, climb the stairs to the bedrooms on the first floor. These include a super-king that can also be arranged as a twin if discussed in advance, a double and a twin. The super-king and double each have a TV for lazy mornings in bed. The family bathroom is also on the first floor. Sit out in the garden on sunny days, taking in the views and grilling supper on the BBQ. Linger outside over a bottle of wine on warm evenings.

Take a ride along the heritage railway from Corwen to Llangollen. Potter in the shops, dine out and take a canal trip from the town that is known for its gorgeous scenery. Visit Llyn Tegid, 11 miles away, to walk round the lake and try your hand at water sports.
