A traditional farmhouse set within the heart of a working farm on a country estate, simply furnished and surrounded by countryside and well-waymarked footpaths from your front door.

Get the whole gang together for a break to remember at this gorgeous brick and flint home sitting on a working farm on a beautiful country estate just 3 miles outside the town of Kington. Sleeping eight people across four bedrooms, this is a wonderful accommodation option for large families or groups of friends who want to celebrate a special occasion together in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside. During the day, unwind in the serene ambiance of Kington Water Gardens; and in the evening, fire up the BBQ on the cottage’s patio before enjoying a dip in the outdoor hot tub.

Head through the porch and you’ll be greeted by an inviting open-plan kitchen/dining area. Make your way to the spacious lounge and take a moment to make yourself at home before heading to the farmhouse-style kitchen to whip up some dinner for everyone. Gather everyone to eat around the dining table or head out into the large garden to dine alfresco. After dinner, enjoy a relaxing dip in the outdoor hot tub, or head back to the living area to bask in the warmth of the wood burner. Enjoy a moment of peace in the snug if you’re in need of a little time to yourself. At the end of the day, there are four stylish double bedrooms to choose from - two of which can be converted into twins on request.

Meander through Kington’s charming streets (3 miles) and you’ll discover its unique blend of traditional and contemporary architecture. Admire the beautiful St Mary’s Church and check out the local shops and cafes. Alternatively, climb up to Hergest Ridge (8 miles) to take in the panoramic country views. Take your binoculars, because more than 150 bird species like to call this area home.

This cottage was a great space for our two families to spend some quality time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Welcomed with a lovely selection of local produce the cottage was spacious and fulfilled all our needs. The porch was a great place to kick off muddy walking boots and the hot tub a welcome relaxing space, although felt a littRead morele isolated from the cottage. Quality of facilities was excellent, beds comfortable and Mel was on hand when needed. Would recommmend! Hide
