An appealing, Welsh village home with two outside spaces, and within easy reach of the golden beach at Aberdyfi, the jetty for crabbing and the many footpaths of scenic Snowdonia.

This bright and appealing holiday home is located in the popular village of Aberdyfi, only 150 metres from the beach, shops and places to eat and drink. It enjoys lovely views from its elevated position, and is ideal for families or friends wanting to enjoy days at the seaside or hike the trails of southern Snowdonia.

Climb the external steps to the front door of this lovely house and, once inside, you’ll find a light-filled, open-plan space that’s perfect for relaxed gatherings, whether sat around the dining table or snuggled up on the sofas. Admire the superb views, play a board game, listen to music on the Bluetooth stereo, or simply relax with a movie on the Smart TV. For fresh air and that inside/outside feeling, slide open the glazed doors to the garden. In the kitchen you’ll find plenty of cupboard and worktop space, ready for creating all kinds of holiday feasts. When you start to feel tired, head upstairs to find three tranquil bedrooms, a king-size, a double and a bunk-bed room for two (with 3’ beds), all with ample storage, as well as a family bathroom with a trendy pastel-coloured bath. Outside areas front and back allow you to follow the sun, with dining furniture on the front terrace and relaxed seating in the rear courtyard, ideal for a morning coffee or a pre-dinner drink.

Aberdyfi is in a beautiful setting at the mouth of the River Dyfi, and its fabulous, 4-mile beach is popular for swimming and water sports. Book a boat trip from the harbour, or try your hand at crab fishing from the jetty. The 18-hole golf course is another major attraction and, after you’ve spent the day walking in the national park, there’s a good choice of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.

A good spacious house with a great feel to it. Rear outside area great for late afternoon sun and sheltered from the wind. House conveniently placed for the sea-front.

The cottage 'Chequers' was a beautiful, clean and accommodating place, thank you. All of the rooms were bright, spacious and with some newly decorated, which was lovely. The bathroom had been recently attractively renovated, as were all the beautiful bedrooms, two with lovely clear views over the Aberdovey estuary. The cottage was well stocked withRead more all we needed. The owner was in touch with us to ensure that we were ok and had what we needed; he was very helpful and supportive - thank you. Hide

The most fantastic views and location. Well equipped, apart from a couple of items (coffee machine) that were missing. Spoke to the owner who addressed most concerns and was very polite and tried to amend issues. A little jaded in areas...but we were out for most of the day so this didn't affect us.

really good, clean, honest house in a great location close to the centre of Aberdyfi yet slightly quieter. Limited but fantastic view of the Dyfi estuary. Highly recommended - everything you need, nothing you don't.

Nice clean and tidy house with most of the facilities you would require from a holiday home. The balconies were ideal for sitting out during the heatwave we endured whilst here. Great location cl.ose to the front with the bonus of parking on site. Good communication with the owner pre and during our stay. We will be booking Chequers again.

This 3 bedroom cottage is spacious and well decorated. It is in a good position near to the beach and shops with an estuary view from the bedroom. However there is a fairly steep climb to the property which would not suit the less mobile

A pleasant and comfortable house, very well equipped. It has a lovely aspect.across the estuary and Aberdovey beach and village amenities are within a five minute walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and intend to stay there again next year.
